Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine Awards Chateau Lamothe
Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine released its annual Best Restaurants of the Twin Cities. Reaching spots two and three is Chateau Lamothe of Burnsville.
Readers of the renowned Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine voted in 48 categories and doubled votes over previous years. Infamous restaurants, like Manny’s, St. Paul Grill and Kincaid’s topped the charts. But, the small, family-owned/operated restaurant, Chateau Lamothe, astonished all by grabbing the no. 2 spot with Best Wine Bar. If that wasn't enough, they also nabbed third best Wine List, followed by Manny’s at no. 4.
With every category dominated by downtown Minneapolis restaurants, Chateau is one of the few small, independent, suburban restaurants to make its mark.
As Chateau’s slogan attests, “Come as a Stranger, Return as a Friend,” its friends have clearly made their choice. With the numerous clubs Chateau holds: motorcycle, poker, dance, scotch, of course wine; it keeps a place for many friends. Intimate dining, beautiful music, cozy atmosphere, friendly service, superior food and dedication to being the best have rewarded the Chateau Lamothe. It is the most meaningful award… from the friends of the Chateau.
